Energy Storage Systems and Storage of Lithium-Containing Energy Carriers
Collaborating on Safety
There is a rapid increase in the use of lithium-ion batteries in the Netherlands. To ensure this is done safely, the right knowledge is essential. The IPLO is organizing two days where you can learn more about lithium-ion energy storage systems and the storage of lithium-ion batteries. The location is Jaarbeurs MeetUp in Utrecht.
Monday the 11th of November 2024
On Monday, November 11, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, there will be a day of sessions on energy storage systems and PGS37-1. Learn more about the strategic choices that need to be made in the spatial planning of energy storage systems or discover the risks of energy storage systems through practical examples.
Monday the 18th of November 2024
On Monday, November 18, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, the focus will be on storing lithium-ion batteries and PGS37-2. Learn more about regulations, such as in a session on environmental permits, or discover technical measures like the different types of fire suppression systems that can be used.
These days, anyone dealing with lithium-ion batteries is open to doing so. This includes policymakers, inspectors, permit issuers, companies, and individuals who want to use the technology themselves.
Both days are free to attend. The final program will be announced later.
Please, note that the spoken language during this event is Dutch.
