Vacancy: Senior Marketeer & Communicatie-expert Ecosystem & Innovation

32-40 hours/week

Are you driven by innovation, technology, and making a real societal impact? Do you thrive at the intersection of strategy and engineering? Then this role as Innovation Architect at the Battery Competence Cluster - NL (BCC-NL) offers you the opportunity to shape the future of the Dutch and European battery ecosystem.

Welcome to BCC-NL: building the battery ecosystem of the Netherlands

The Battery Competence Cluster – NL (BCC-NL) is the national innovation programme for battery technology. We give substance to public-private partnerships to develop, scale up and position key technologies internationally. Together with companies, knowledge institutions, governments and start-ups, we are building a strong and future-proof ecosystem.

Our home base is the Automotive Campus in Helmond, but our reach is national and international. BCC-NL feels like a start-up: small, agile and ambitious, with room for initiative, creativity and impact.

What will you be doing?

As a marketer at BCC-NL, you are more than a content creator: you are a driver of impact, a connecting force in the ecosystem and a strategic thinker in a technical domain. You are responsible for our positioning, visibility and activating our target groups - nationally and internationally.

You translate substantive and technical themes into appealing communication campaigns, develop creative formats for our newsletters and social media, and organise events such as Battery Day and international missions. You analyse what works, draw up smart strategies based on this and know how to reach our stakeholders (from start-ups to ministries) at the right time. You will work closely with the director, programme leaders, innovation architects and communication partners within and outside the cluster, both nationally and internationally.

What do you bring to the table?

  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing and/or communication.
  • You switch effortlessly between strategy and implementation.
  • You are highly independent, but also a team player. • You have an affinity with technology, innovation and sustainability.
  • You are able to translate complex content into understandable and inspiring communication.
  • You have experience in independently setting up events and/or campaigns.
  • You are strategic, goal-oriented, proactive, creative and data-driven.
  • You write clearly and convincingly, in Dutch and English.
  • You are familiar with the regular communication tools for setting up newsletters and maintaining the website.

What do we offer you?

  • A position with a lot of responsibility, initiative and visible impact.
  • A strategic role within the organisation with a unique position in the energy transition.
  • An enthusiastic team with short lines of communication and an open culture.
  • Hybrid working from home and our home base at the Automotive Campus in Helmond.
  • Competitive salary, travel and expense allowance and good secondary employment conditions.
  • Plenty of room for personal and professional development.

Does this sound like your next step?
