About BCC-NL
The Battery Competence Cluster – NL (BCC-NL) is the national innovation programme for battery technology. We are building a strong Dutch ecosystem by stimulating public-private partnerships between government, industry and knowledge institutions. From our home base at the Automotive Campus in Helmond, we work nationwide on scaling up strategic battery technologies. What will you be doing?
As Office Manager & Management Assistant, you will be the beating heart of our organisation. You will support the director and the team in their daily activities and ensure that the internal organisation runs smoothly. You will independently keep track of schedules, meetings and deadlines, and take care of all practical and facility-related matters in the office. You will contribute ideas, plan ahead and ensure that everything runs smoothly — from meetings and minutes to stock management, expense claims and external contacts.
In concrete terms, this means:
Budget management for office and facility matters
- Complex agenda management and coordination of appointments
- Preparing, taking minutes and following up on meetings
- Structuring mailboxes, documents and schedules
- Point of contact for suppliers and facility partners
- Support in organising meetings and events
- Arranging orders, office furnishings and gifts
- First point of contact for visitors and partners on site
What does your working day look like?
You start the morning with an overview of priorities and a check of the calendars. You schedule an appointment for the director with an innovative partner company, finalise yesterday's minutes and set out action points. In the afternoon, you call an external caterer for an event, replenish office supplies and consult with a colleague about the planning of the next work session.
Who are you?
- You are independent, proactive and practical.

- You are quick to think on your feet and accurate in your work.
- You communicate professionally and in a friendly manner (in Dutch and English)
- You have experience with MS Office and organisational systems
- You have at least MBO+/HBO working and thinking level
- You enjoy taking care of things and being in control
