Innovation Mission Germany – Next Generation Battery Cells & Production Equipment

  • Date: 30 Nov - 03 Dec
  • Location: Bavaria & Baden-Württemberg
More information & registration

Germany has a strong industrial base and has long been among the global leaders in production technology, mechanical engineering, and industrial automation. The country is increasingly leveraging this expertise and experience for the development and production of next-generation battery cells. This creates attractive opportunities for collaboration with Dutch companies and research institutions, which can contribute through innovative technologies, specialized equipment, advanced materials, and process expertise.

During this four-day innovation mission, we will visit the federal states of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, two key industrial regions with strong ecosystems in automotive, mechanical engineering, and battery technology.

The mission focuses on next-generation battery cell technologies and production equipment. We will connect Dutch companies with German OEMs, machine builders, battery manufacturers, research institutions, and innovation clusters. The emphasis will be on knowledge exchange, identifying concrete collaboration opportunities, and strengthening Dutch-German innovation within the European battery value chain.

The program includes company and research institute visits, thematic sessions, and networking opportunities. The mission is particularly relevant for companies active in battery technology, manufacturing technology, automation, materials, digitalization, quality control, and other solutions that support the development and scaling of battery cell production.

More information about the program and participation will be available soon. In the meantime, save the dates in your calendar!
