From 8 to 11 June 2026, Dutch companies active in sustainable mobility and battery technology are invited to take part in a trade mission to Hungary, one of Central Europe’s fastest‑growing hubs for automotive production and battery manufacturing. The mission offers Dutch entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to explore market prospects, build strategic partnerships and strengthen their position within the European e‑mobility ecosystem.

Hungary has made substantial investments in electric vehicle production, battery systems and related supply chains, attracting major international players and positioning itself as a key location for the energy transition. For Dutch companies with innovative solutions in electric mobility, energy storage, components or enabling technologies, the Hungarian market offers significant opportunities for growth and collaboration.

The four‑day programme combines market briefings, company and site visits, networking events and tailored matchmaking meetings. Participants will gain first‑hand insights into Hungary’s industrial landscape, policy ambitions and technological developments, while meeting potential customers, partners and stakeholders from both the public and private sectors.

Special attention will be given to themes such as battery technology, charging infrastructure, electric mobility solutions and sustainable transport systems. These areas align closely with Dutch strengths in technology development, system integration and innovation, making the mission particularly relevant for companies looking to scale internationally or enter new European markets.

The trade mission is open to Dutch‑based companies that are active in sustainable mobility or battery‑related technologies. Registration is open until 1 April 2026. The participation fee is €650 per organisation, excluding VAT. Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the participants.

By joining this mission, companies can accelerate their international ambitions, gain valuable market intelligence and establish lasting connections in a rapidly developing sector. The trade mission to Hungary forms part of a broader effort to support Dutch businesses in strengthening Europe’s sustainable mobility and battery value chains.
