CarbonX Secures European Innovation Council (EIC) EURO 2.5m Accelerator grant

CarbonX has been awarded the prestigious EUR 2.5m EIC Accelerator 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭. In what’s called “the most competitive funding round so far since the launch of the Accelerator under Horizon Europe”, CarbonX was selected amongst 71 cutting edge companies out of 1,211 applications. 

Why this matters for CarbonX?

The grant will allow CarbonX to accelerate product development to fully replace graphite in EV batteries and intensify collaboration with key cell manufacturers in different commercial cell formats. The equity commitment supports building out infrastructure to execute on future supply agreements.
