The battery sector is growing rapidly and plays a crucial role in the energy transition, electrification and industrial innovation. The Battery Competence Cluster – NL (BCC-NL) brings together companies, knowledge institutions and government bodies to strengthen the Dutch battery value chain.
For the National Growth Fund programme Material Independence & Circular Batteries (MICB), we are looking for a Manager Programme Office who brings structure, oversight and progress to a dynamic programme organisation.
While the Director focuses on strategy, stakeholder management and the development of new initiatives, you ensure that projects, programmes and people collaborate effectively and deliver results.
What will you do?
You will work closely with programme leaders, innovation architects and support functions within the Programme Office.
Programme coordination and progress
- Coordinate and monitor the execution of projects and programmes within MICB.
- Track progress, KPIs, risks and dependencies.
- Identify bottlenecks and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
Structure and process improvement
- Introduce structure within a growing programme organisation.
- Develop and improve processes, methodologies and tools for programme management.
- Create overview and coherence within the project and programme portfolio.
Collaboration and team development
- Foster collaboration between programme leaders, innovation architects and support functions.
- Organise effective governance structures and progress meetings.
- Support a professional, results-driven and learning-oriented working environment.
Reporting and programme control
- Facilitate reporting to funding bodies, clients and project partners.
- Support subsidy applications, project development and accountability processes.
- Ensure the Programme Office demonstrably remains ‘in control’.

What do you bring?
- A completed HBO (Bachelor’s) or WO (Master’s) degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in programme management, project management or a similar role.
- Experience with planning & control, programme governance and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, process-oriented mindset.
- The ability to translate strategy into concrete actions and results.
- A natural connector who motivates people and teams.
- Affinity with technology, industry, innovation or the energy transition.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
