Would you like to combine the best of both worlds: steering projects and financial control? Do you have a keen eye, strong communication skills, and a desire to make an impact on both figures and decision-making? Then this is your opportunity!

BCC-NL is looking for a true all-rounder who enjoys combining project control with financial control. As an independently operating controller, you are the link between finance and operations. • Prepare the annual budget and annual accounts.
  • Manage financial closings (periodic, annual and project-based).
  • Produce reports and keep them up to date.
  • Safeguard the planning & control cycle and initiate process improvements.
  • Arrange the auditor’s report for the annual accounts and grant settlements.

What do we offer?

You will join an informal environment with a high degree of autonomy and plenty of scope for initiative.

  • The opportunity to further shape the role and help build processes.
  • A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
  • A competitive salary, depending on your knowledge and experience.
  • 30 days’ annual leave (full-time equivalent).
  • Travel allowance, laptop and mobile phone.
  • An onboarding programme.

What do you bring?

You can easily switch between figures, people and processes. A combination of analytical ability and strong communication skills is essential for this role.

  • A completed higher education degree (HBO/WO equivalent) in a financial discipline provides you with a solid foundation.
  • Affinity with working in a project-based environment, preferably with grant-funded programmes, enabling you to add value quickly.
  • Strong Excel skills to translate data into concrete insights (experience with Exact Online is an advantage).

Who are we?
